Thailand Missions
Lord willing, Servants Aid will be going on a Thailand Missions Trip in 2018 to Chiang Rai in order to assist MediaLight Film School in developing media missionaries at it’s media school and to provide free Christian media to missionaries.
MediaLight teaches Christians how to speak the language of media to communicate the Gospel to a visual generation. Today’s generation prefers “to be shown, not told.” On the topic of storytelling through media, the following is an excerpt from MediaLight Institute’s website:
God knows its power and the church has to re-learn the ancient art of storytelling. That’s why MediaLight is here. Our main goal is help you polish your craft of storytelling so that you can use it to convey God’s message to this emerging generation.
MediaLight Institute was founded by media missionaries, Chuck & Sherry Quinley. The Quinley’s have been missionaries for about 30 years, first in Jamaica, then in the Philippines and now Thailand. They raised 6 children overseas and pastored thousands of people from North America to Asia. Their ministry is to raise young leaders for Asia. You can learn more about them on their websites at Quinley.com and Emerge Missions.
Watch this informative video produced by MediaLight Staff that explains more about the MediaLight school and see how you can serve God on a Thailand Missions Trip.
